Blue Line Studios is appealing for beta testers for its forthcoming TextBroom 3 application.
Up to 70 per cent of the code for has been rewritten, and functions should run from 3 to 100 times as fast as previous versions of the application, the company claims.
Blue Line is not looking for experienced beta testers, but is asking that testers do extensive work with text. All testers who provide feedback will receive a free registration code. Testing begins on August 21 and runs for one week. TextBroom handles text files, cleans up unwanted characters and formatting using smart search-&-replace functions.
In further beta news, United Developers announced that its hotly-awaited titles – Majesty, Sin and Wages of Sin – have reached beta testing. Matthew Tremblay, operations manager of the group said United Developers hopes to ship all three titles "very soon".
