Thursby Software has announced a public beta test of Dave 3.1.
Dave is the company's cross platform file-sharing solution. This version works on Mac OS X 10.1, as well as earlier operating systems.
Warren Witt, Thursby Software's vice president, said: "Probably the biggest change our customers will notice is the addition of support for inkjet printing." The application now supports files of over 2GB and file names longer than 31 characters.
The product is scheduled for release in early November. It will be a free upgrade for Dave 2.5.2 customers and others with a support contract. Customers using older versions of the application can upgrade for $89.95. The product will cost $149. The beta is available for download from the company's Web site.
