Popular digital video recorder manufacturer Tivo will announce iPod support today, according to the New York Times.
The new software will let users encode content into a format suitable for Apple's iPod with video and also for Sony's PSP. The new features will appear in an updated version of its TivoToGo software scheduled for release early next year, the report claims.
TiVo's vice president of product marketing Jim Denney told the New York Times: "We've seen reasonable demand and interest from people to bring their videos with them."
Tivo owners can automatically record TV and pause and replay live broadcasts.
