has announced its top ten-selling Macintosh software titles and books for the week running February 23 to March 3.

The best-selling software title through Amazon's site was Adobe Photoshop Elements, with Macromedia's Student Web Design Studio taking second place. The Home Photo Studio, which contains Adobe Photoshop Elements and Wacom's Graphire tablet and pen set is the third-biggest seller on the site.

Other titles include: in fourth place, Roxio's Toast 5 Titanium; Apple's Mac OS X 10.1 is fifth; Borland's JBuilder Personal 6 is the sixth-best seller; the Macintosh edition of Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing 9 takes seventh place; Britannica 2002 DVD Mac Edition sits in eighth; Microsoft's Office Mac v.X seizes ninth position; and Corel's Bryce 5 is the tenth-biggest selling solution on Amazon's site in the past week.

Six of the books in Amazon's top-ten Mac titles this week focus on Mac OS X, with David Pogue's Mac OS X: The Missing Manual – which is being exclusively serialized in Macworld – the best-selling title.

Aaron Hillegass' Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X is the second-biggest selling title, while David Pogue also snatches third place, this time with Mac OS 9: The Missing Manual.
