Apple iTunes-partner U2 is considering making shows from its forthcoming tour available as digital downloads.

The band this morning released the full dates for its 'Vertigo' world tour, which begins March 28 in the US, with the European leg set for June.

Speaking to Billboard U2 manager Paul McGuinness revealed the strength of the Irish musicians' connection with Apple: "We're exploring technology where it might be possible to download the show you've just seen," he said.

"We've been talking to iTunes and the folks at Apple, with whom we have a great relationship, but it's not quite there yet. We're certainly looking at it."

Confirmed dates so far include: Tuesday 14th June, Manchester, City Of Manchester Stadium; Saturday 18th June, Twickenham Stadium; Tuesday 21st June, Glasgow, Hampden Park; Wednesday 29th, Cardiff, Millenium Stadium.
