Disaffected US Mac resellers plan to picket Apple's annual shareholder meeting in California this morning.

The protest is designed to highlight legal action currently taking place, in which a number of former resellers are suing Apple for $7.5 million compensatory damages, alleging that the computer company committed fatal damage against their businesses by favouring the needs of its own retail outlets above those of its independent resellers.

Elite Computers, MACadam Computers and MacTech Systems will picket Apple's meeting at 10am at the company's Cupertino HQ.

"It's time Apple's conduct is made known to Apple shareholders," said Thomas Armes, president and CEO of Elite Computers, "We look forward to sharing what we have uncovered."

Last month, the former Apple resellers launched TellOnApple.org as a resource to document and share information about Apple's business practices.
