Apple has updated its USB Adaptor Card Support Extensions to version 1.2.
The International English extensions provide support for USB adaptor cards installed in the PCI bus or CardBus slots in Macs. It cannot be installed on Macs with built-in USB ports, which already include support for built-in USB ports and USB PCI adaptors.
The software supports only USB cards that comply with the Open Host Controller Interface (OHCI) spec, and may not work with every card.
The update, which is available for download, requires Mac OS 8.6 or later. Mac OS 8.5.1 users should download USB Adaptor Card Support 1.2.
Apple also released its AEFW to MM Transition document for International English users. This is an Adobe Acrobat PDF that includes important information on converting an existing At Ease 5.0.2 server with AppleShare IP to Macintosh Manager.
