Connectix is now shipping its Virtual PC with Red Hat Linux pre-installed.

The Virtual PC emulation product line allows Macintosh users to run PC applications, access networks and share files. It comes in four versions - PC-DOS, Windows 95 and 98 and now with Red Hat Linux.

The Red Hat Linux version provides a "hassle-free" way to run Linux on a Mac. The user doesn't have to reconfigure the Mac because the operating system is contained within Virtual PC.

Users can toggle between the Linux and Mac environments with a mouse click, without having to reboot, and full ethernet support gives seamless access to PC networks. It also supports Mac drives and printers even while running Linux.

Virtual PC with Red Hat Linux is available now from the company's online store for $99.
