Hi-Tec make music

Hi-Tec Computer Services in Bradford is to host a music event at the Corn Exchange in Leeds, offering an introduction to new music software, hardware, and audio production.

The Future of Music Technology event will feature presentations by Apple and M-Audio and a PowerBook DJ set by DJ E.A.S.E (Nightmares on Wax).

The event will run from 1pm – 5pm on Friday 28 November.

Rapid on tour

Rapid Group, Epson and Apple are hosting an Adobe CS Acceleration Tour in December 2003.

The tour will visit ten cities in the UK including London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds.

The in-depth training seminars, presented by Guy Gowan of etipsntricks.com, will look at the latest Adobe Creative Suite products, and examine new features and updated integration possibilities.

New retouching features in Photoshop CS will be discussed, and integration with InDesign CS, GoLive, Acrobat Professional and Ilustrator CS, with its new 3D feature, will be evaluated.

The seminars will also offer an insight into Version Cue – a new feature of the Adobe Creative Suite. The file-management tool enables tracking of files and saving of multiple versions of artwork.

Gowan will share knowledge of print, design and multimedia production, offering advanced tips and techniques for getting the maximum out of the digital workflow to time and money.
