Parallels has released an updated beta version of Parallels Desktop for Mac, its solution that lets Mac users run Windows and other operating systems at the same time as OS X on any Intel-powered Mac.
The software offers improved OS performance and a range of USB improvements, including support for webcams and Windows Mobile 2005 devices.
Video output has been improved and accelerated, and the Eject CD key on keyboards should now work in all systems.
The Mac hard disk cache can be now switched off for a virtual machine, improving OS X performance. Additonal tweaks include Unicode path support and improved shared folders performance.
The company said that the final release of the software is expected "in the next few weeks".
