Apple has launched new software for .Mac subscribers wanting to share iDisks content with PC users running Windows XP.

The company introduced its iDisk Utility for Windows XP last night. The software lets Windows XP users upload and download files from a .Mac member's iDisk Public folder.

In recent weeks Apple has also delivered the following benefits to .Mac users: a free copy of Aladdin System's DropStuff and a free update to anti-virus utility, Virex.

DropStuff usually costs $30. It is a solution that compresses files for storage and online file exchange and is free to members until April 13.

A year's .Mac subscription costs $99.95.
