London, United Kingdom - EuroSmartz(tm), the Apple(R) iPad(R) & iPhone(R) application development company, today announced another world first for the iPhone and iPad with the launch of their new app Save2PDF. With Save2PDF loaded onto an iPad or iPhone, the device owner can simply choose files with entirely different formats (e.g. select a Pages file, a Word Document and an Excel file), tap the PDF button, tap Save and they will have a single PDF file with each of the original files contents combined! This functionality is a world first - not just in terms of iOS devices, but also for software in general.
A preview of the new PDF is provided within the "PDF Creation Screen" and this also enables the easy arrangement and order of the source files as well as providing page range and paper size selection for the new PDF file. With Save2PDF customers can also create PDFs from web pages, insert a photo to an existing PDF and even add a cover page to a PDF for printing or emailing.
Faster and easier PDF creation than a computer:
The many unique features contained within Save2PDF mean that owners of iPads and iPhones, along with this app are able to perform tasks that would take considerable time and a large number of steps on a computer to achieve the same result! Even if the PC or Mac user has right software packages loaded they would need to painstakingly create each PDF separately and then, only after those steps were completed could they attempt to somehow combine the PDF together.
Save2PDF takes full advantage of the standard "Open in" file sharing protocol that is built into iOS. This means it is very quick and simple to transfer a file from another iPad or iPhone app that also supports "Open in" and convert to a PDF using Save2PDF - all of this can be done in only two taps!
Save2PDF also incorporates cloud services with support for Google Docs, DropBox and Box.net as well as FTP and other WebDAV services. This enables iOS device owners to select a file in the Cloud, convert it to PDF and save or email it without having to download it first. Save2PDF enables customers to combine files stored locally along with those in the cloud into a single PDF, again without having to download them first.
Ian Schenkel, CEO at EuroSmartz comments: "EuroSmartz was the first company to bring the functionality of printing photos, contacts, web pages and more to the iPhone when it released "Print" in late December 2008. Even though iOS device owners have choice of over 300,000 apps, Save2PDF shows there are still opportunities to bring never seen before functionality to the iPad and iPhone. Save2PDF will enable millions of customers to quickly and easily create a single PDF from multiple formatted files, as well as convert files and documents into PDFs without the use of a computer."
