Full Measure 4.0 Review
Its features are grouped into 12 tabs, covering such things as text and paragraph formats, rule settings, picture information, item and frame settings, document preferences, table functions, guides, item alignments, and value conversions. There’s a new search tool for finding items by their attributes which is handy for working on long documents.
It has some useful features, such as aligning pictures to one side of a box and customised item nudge controls. At first glance this doesn’t really seem to add anything extra to QuarkXPress, but it does save time in going straight to the right settings. It’s smaller than the Measurements palette and it wasn’t too hard to find space on the screen for it.
What perhaps lets Full Measure 4.0 down is that it duplicates some of the features found within QuarkXPress's own palette; but isn't comprehensive enough to replace them overall. That said it has a reasonable price, and given the small size of it there's very little trouble finding space for it on the desktop.
