Klipsch Image S4 review
The people at Klipsch pride themselves on sound and build quality with their in-ear headphones, and the new Image S4 pluggers continue that tradition.
A massive, robust bass sound is complemented by crystal clear treble, and the overall effect is mightily impressive. The company also boasts of a proprietary oval eartip design that naturally fits the ear.
We wouldn’t say, as Klipsch does, that they’re impossible to feel, but they are easy to insert and very comfortable.
The design takes the cable round the back of the ear and into your ears from above - we like this, because it stops you feeling the headphones are weighing down your ears. That said, the Image S4 earpieces are remarkably light anyway.
There’s no hipster garishness in the design either - the silver and shiny black look is refined and classy. At £70, they’re pricier than some recent models from the likes of Denon and Headfunk, but the design and sound make the Image S4s stand out.
You'd have to be in a good mood to stump up the £70 asking price, but once you've parted with your cash you won't be disappointed. The Image S4 are comfortable, good-looking, and sound great.
