Jackpot Casino review

Casino addicts will be dying to get hold of a gambling game for their iPhone or iPod, and while the thrill of betting real money isn’t present with Jackpot Casino, at least that means the maximum you can lose is the £3.49 asking price.

Jackpot Casino offers craps, roulette, several poker games, blackjack, and a couple of slot machine games. All work pretty well - and come with occasionally confusing but ultimately decipherable instructions. On all the card games, the buttons are a bit close together, making it hard to be sure which one you’re hitting.

There are two slots games that are good for a quick time waste, but not much more. That’s the nature of this sort of title though - and at £3.49 it’s great for dreaming of Vegas on the train to work.

Jackpot Casino is a simple experience - its simulated card games, slot machines, and roulette wheel are easy to pick up and play. The controls are a bit too close together in some instances - it's annoying accidentally hitting 'Hit' instead of 'Stand' on 21, for example, and it could do with some animations to spice it up. Overall though, it does what it says, and its basic graphics don't make it any less addictive.
