iSee for iPad review

Contour’s iSee is one case that won’t hide the good looks of your iPad thanks to its clear, smooth, polycarbonate chassis. We thought the case was quite flimsy at first and were concerned it wouldn’t offer much protection for the iPad, but once clipped in place, it felt quite sturdy. In fact, it was a bit of a struggle to unclip the case afterwards, so it shouldn’t come apart if dropped.

The iSee comes with a stand – a great addition, if a little tricky to slot together. It offers a viewing mode where the iPad stands almost upright, and a typing mode, where the iPad is tilted at about 40 degrees from the table.

OUR VERDICT

The typing mode’s not particularly comfortable or ergonomic. The viewing mode would work well as a photo frame, but more angle options would be better for playing video.
