LiveScribe Echo full review

Livescribe seems to have already cornered the smartpen market with its original Pulse. The Echo builds on that reputation and delivers a pen that can not only record your notes, but also provides audio recording to give your virtual notes another dimension. You can even create what Livescribe calls ‘pencasts’ and upload them to the Livescribe community.

Our initial impressions were excellent. The pen is compact, comfortable to hold and can be set up for left or right hand. The manual is interactive, offering audio explanations of each feature.

Livescribe’s Echo is a compact, easy-to-use smartpen

The supplied dot paper comes in A5 format. Extra pads cost around £12 for a pack of four, but you can print the paper for free from the website.
