Scosche foldIO case for iPad full review
The Scosche case for iPad from Apple accessories specialist Scosche Industries is, as you might expect at this price, a luxury choice for your tablet. Available in a nicely tactile, carbon fiber look texture or leather look, it's a stylish, solid and secure option for your iPad. The build, which feels well made, offers good protection without adding too much in the way of additional bulk or weight. The suede-like interior lining meanwhile, not only offers protection from bumps and scratches but adds to the feeling that this a superior product.
A series of ridged grooves offers a choice of three landscape viewing angles for your iPad. The Scosche case survived the Macworld patented (only joking) bouncy mattress test, remaining upright and staying in place while catching up with BBC iPlayer in bed late into the night. It also makes a good companion for frequent travellers keen on occupying the hours catching up with work or enjoying a film or surfing the Internet. The lower elevation setting also make the Scosche a useful stand for typing with comfort. As for static desktop or armchair iPad users, the Scosche case really can't be faulted.
We found docking, charging and general access to ports and iPad controls to be good and responsive. The Scosche case proved a snug fit and required a little effort to fit true and securely. The instructions, a small slip of paper, could be better here, while the clip that keeps everything in place can feel a bit stiff. At this price a screen protector and cleaning cloth would have rounded off the package nicely. The Scosche has a SRP of £38.99 and is available from Dixons.
