Cygnett Lavish leather case for iPhone full review
The Lavish leather case for iPhone 3G and 3GS from accessories maker Cygnett is just that. Made from high-grade, ultra-soft lambskin leather it both looks and feels like a quality way to ensure your iPhone is protected on your travels. The flip-top design wraps around your phone, while a small stud, initially a little fiddly, keeps everything in place on your travels. For additional protection, a screen protector is provided. A micro-fibre cleaning cloth is also part of the package.
You'll need to unclip the stud for battery charging and synching, otherwise the iPhone's minimal range of buttons are freely available without resorting to removing the case. The touchscreen is easily accessible too. Importantly for a phone that can be easily scratched or marked, the Lavish has a smooth, soft interior that is among the best we've tried.
The case comes in a choice of Chocolate Brown, Classic Black, Cherry Red or Hot Pink, which should suit most tastes. A small pouch is designed to snuggly fit a credit or debit card if you like travelling light. Over time you'll need to clean the case to keep it looking its best, but the wrap-around design should ensure your iPhone remains immaculate. Incidentally, should you need to, the Lavish case also serves as decent fit for the iPod touch
