Element Case Liquid Edition review
The Element Case Liquid Edition is a slightly bonkers concept - an ultra protective case for the iPhone 3G that requires you to undo four corner screws, remove the top, insert your iPhone and then screw it back together. There is then a high-impact polymer cover, which is held in place by very strong magnets. To use your iPhone, remove the cover and stick it on the back.
The plastic shell is very tough, and the magnets are unlikely to become unstuck. The cases can be custom designed with your own graphics too, at an extra cost, but each case comes with two magnetic covers to choose from, in different colours.
The Element Case isn’t for everyone. It seems crazy, but it works as an alternative to the likes of Otterbox’s pricey heavy duty cases. The removable lid might be a bit fiddly for extreme sports fans, though.
If you like to really put your gadgets through their paces, then this case is one of few options. However, it's very expensive, so you could do without and just be a bit more careful. It's protective qualities are undeniable, though.
