Faconnable Case review
High fashion and gadgets don’t seem like ideal bedfellows, but trendy tech is big business. If you’re someone who likes your iPhone to rub shoulders with super-cool cases, then the Faconnable could be for you.
It’s a plastic shell with a smooth rubberised finish. As with most cases of its kind, its two halves snap together, and this one fits well. There’s a cutout for the camera lens, and an unexplained cutout next to the earpiece.
The case comes in black, with a city-boy style grey pinstripe design. It actually looks pretty good, but is marred by a horrible badge
on the back of the case that says ‘Faconnable - Since 1950’. It’s a bit Ciro Citterio, and is also very easy to peel off, to reveal a nasty gluey patch underneath.
Apart from this slight deviation from taste, the Faconnable is a functional case with a snazzy look.
A good-looking case that offers protection that’s hard to fault, the Faconnable isn’t as lavishly produced as it’d have you believe, but still a decent option.
