The XYLO-T3 is a rarity among iPhone cases – it protects the screen, but lets you operate the phone at the same time. The transparent screen cover is built into the plastic shell and gives you full viewing access to the screen, and doesn’t hinder the performance of the touch-sensitive bits. Ivyskin says it operates by ‘ultrasonic waves’ that are transferred from the panel to the screen – it sounds like voodoo, but it works fine.
The rest of the case is well designed and functional, and doesn’t detract too much from the design of the iPhone itself. It also has a sliding mechanism to open and close it, which doesn’t feel as precarious as cases that just ‘snap’ together.
The silvery bit around the edge of the screen is perhaps a bit much, but otherwise the Ivyskin is ideal – good protection and decent looking.
