Kensington Ci60

It works via a wireless receiver, and a USB extension is included if the USB socket is tucked around the back of your Mac.

While the Ci60 doesn’t have much in the way of design flair (excusable given the price) it has solid rubber grips on the sides, two buttons and a scroll wheel on its top, and two buttons located just above the thumb in a right-handed configuration.

OUR VERDICT

Unfortunately, it performs tracking tasks poorly, with a tendency to be slightly jerky and jump from point to point on the screen. Whether this is a problem with the radio frequency or because it uses optical tracking (all the other mice here use the more modern laser system) is hard to say, but in either case it’s a no-go for users who need any degree of precision tracking.
